I am from the midwest originally but have been living in Los Angeles for the last 6 years in a loft down town in the arts district.  

Having bought a house with land in a suburb that's less than 10 minutes away from downtown, I can never see myself moving somewhere without a proper yard anymore.

there are maybe 2 good parts of this town and mines not in the most upscale but its better than downtown. there are NO rentals especially single family in nicer homes and neighborhoods because the taxes here are very high. 

I know folks who go to LV all the time, who love to stay at a residence rather than stay on the strip or downtown. 

Attn Allentown PA Investors, Do you really believe in the NIZ, is Allentown stuck in the mud, and do you think people in Lehigh Valley actually would want to live/work/play in downtown Allentown?

If I were to take a property located in historic downtown Marysville (on B st around 2nd, 3rd, 4th St) and rent by the room to personnel serving at Beale Air Force Base, how likely is there to be interest or demand from someone serving at Beale? 

It’s in downtown Rahway, not too great a neighborhood but a 3 minute walk to the train station.

Its only 2 miles from downtown and no one wants to touch it.

That's funny, I lived in Power Ranch for 3 years... about a year and a half ago I moved right into the downtown area.
