Another time a daughter moved in during the time her mother was in a home and thought she had the right to stay there after her mother died, but I had to tell her differently.

I moved my family in with my Grandmother until I found a job that paid a decent wage ($50k a year plus bonuses) but kept me working over 12 hours a day (plus  a long commute) and spending very little time with my daughter. 

However, I 've bought 2 houses that way and I actually just had a promising call yesterday when I called one waiting to pick my daughter up from school. 

The good news is that it does have a cash value and we will be cashing it out to help pay for my daughters college education.
