and when they finally called then they said my SSN card looked 'old' so i asked should I request a 'new' SScard from Social Security (which happens be directly downstairs in the same exact building as BOE) and she said no, SS admin doesnt issue new cards (duh) anyways so she finally disappeared into the backoffice for like 10mins then reappeared and apologized that she didnt know why the system didnt accept my social security# but she manually verified it and printed out my BOE reseller permit and i was supposed to display that at all future garage sales. anyways i was just wondering if anyone ever had to deal with estate personal property sales and were they ever asked for a permit??

Maybe from a buy and hold for appreciation one, but there's going to be a lot of negative cash flow from the get go.It seems most successful deals are being made via high end flips, fix and holds/multi family holds in low income areas, or those getting into gentrifying neighborhoods like West Oakland/Emeryville border area.
