Pros I can think of: - higher rent rates (renting by the room) - saving cost and time on upgrade - easier advertising Cons I can think of: - high turnovers  - limited screening - possible wear and tear  

Additionally, I see a third house only 18 minutes and 11.8 miles outside of my city; this particular "Open House" is Sunday 1:00p-3:00p, and it's advertised for $195,000.

If you want to advertise you can advertise as anticipated vacancy and have a showing open house date in the future. or just wait and advertise when it is vacant.

Kijiji is more prevalent than Craigs list in much (perhaps all) of Canada for rental advertisements.

The reason is because you:1) Have your own get-away house2) Can write off your expenses3) Make extra IncomeYes, it comes with more managing, but if you simply advertise for a cleaning crew (or person), on craigslist, Fb, etc.
