That's not where it ends though; The benefits of having connections with fire/ems/police is that you have first hand insight into the property condition or the owners situations.

She informed us that she will be filing a police report because while she was walking to her car this morning, the downstairs tenant lunged out of her window and screamed at her to "just take off your f*#$ing shoes!"  

Not only am I a real estate investor, but I'm also a police officer and have been for over 20 years.  

No good.One of my workers rents the other side of the duplex "cousin" lives in, and they've called the police on this "cousin" and her children multiple times for noise disturbances, threats (from the mother and her boyfriend), and vandalization (the kids ripped my my workers vegetable garden and threw the veggies onto his porch!).

I have friends on the police force who say they're going to start putting pressure on the owner due to the 3-4 year history of issues and the recent bust on the property.According to neighbors (and my brother), the house has gone off and on the market over the span of the last few years.  

Could have been much worse, but I filed a police report and the neighbor was a witness that he was at the property that day.  

I am not the license police..One thing that our state did though was crack down on Private money lenders those that had pretty big books say 2 to 5 million of personal money out there...

I had JUST read an article about the lackluster response for home alarms and that it's measured in half hours not minutes, so I knew I had time to continue changing the litter box and then getting out of there before having to explain myself to the police.

When you have a lot of landlords, I wonder if your not collecting as much as you should be, especially of the mgmt isn't giving you direction, I would assume they're not policing the income.
