So I decided to sell and move on. 

My Daughter was a controller Intel and I think we all know whats happening with that company it has had major issues and is starting to spin off divisions and she got picked to move to Altera as the Finance director of the entire company.

If they pay all their bills and maintain a job it's unlikely they'll turn into an unemployed bum once they move in.

Starting small with one property was a smart move, especially in a new market.

Generally there are multiple units for each "zone" if you will when I've seen them installed.Regarding your problem at hand, I personally would simply adjust your plan to move and make your initial plan to get the current issues resolved, while costly now, in the long run holding onto the unit will likely pay off. 

As you mentioned, this could strengthen my credibility and certainty to close when moving on to larger deals.

Prices haven't fallen, and rents haven't moved up enough.Investors either need to work harder, be more creative, accept negative cash flow, or sit on the sidelines. 

This could also force your current tenants to lose their jobs and need to move out and then you’d be in a real bind.
