Account ClosedI've never seen an HOA that would permit the subdivision of a condo into smaller units.otoh, I have subdivided a building into smaller condo units, but I owned the entire building and drew up new condo docs.

Hey @Drew Feutz, I agree with @Thomas S. that you must buy right and not compromise.On the flip side though, I do think that properties with landlord-paid utilities can sometimes be great deals.

Hi Drew, Down payments for a primary residence start as low as 3%, while down payments for an investment property (in any state) start at 20%.
