I got engaged to my lovely wife, began using a budget and spending lots of capital on "adult things" like a place to live, bills, pets, and all the expenses that go along with a beautiful wedding in Hawaii which took place in the spring of 2014.

In my limited exposure learning about vacation rentals, a common theme I have observed is that they don't cash flow very well, and their are often more expenses than initially realized.Although, they may not cash flow well it seems that using the property for your own vacation may be of some advantage, and a way to still benefit from owning one.I'm realize there are a lot of factors that influence the success of a vacation rental, but in general do most feel like the positives in this type of investment outweigh the negatives?

I've been looking at lots of ideas online, but can't confidently choose one...The overall color scheme and theme of the house is cool with gray walls and floor, new stainless appliances/ fans/ updated fixtures, etc.

Ephesus in my mind is a must do in Turkey.. the other thing we have done is you go further south and then to the east along the med and there are really cool beach towns. 

In other words, attracting that out-of-state money is consistent with a common theme in regional success.

Recently we’ve been exploring the possibility of purchasing a second property that would generate income through equine operations and wedding/event hosting.

I’ve noticed a recurring theme with starting out is just making connections.

The common theme is he invests in undervalued assets.

It happened on our new build when the entire household & in-town guests were getting ready for a Saturday wedding.
