Retail centers typically have higher rents you have to pay versus regular office because you are usually paying for street frontage and higher traffic levels with better sight lines from the road.If you are buying a building you might look into an SBA loan if you will be occupying 50% of the space or greater.As far as owning you need to evaluate the space where you are currently at.

Hello,I would like to seek opinion from members on this board about my rental place that has been on the market for two months with very little to no traffic.I understand that Dec and January are slowest of all months in the NE but having unequivocally very little traffic is discouraging.

I still use it today mostly when buying as I have relationships with realtors in my markets that I let list my properties at no commission so they can get the buyer traffic.
