No original hardwoods because they used all the wood they had on the beautiful paneling....Keep those pictures coming.

Go tot he electrical panel and turn the breaker off for those outlets. 

Do it because it increases your quality of life and/or passive solar heat but don't expect it to increase house value like say the addition of a outdoor living space like a deck or patio might.

I plan to stir the pot quite a bit with my panel for both Title II reasonableness and Title III.

Ceiling Paint if possible, may have to replace panels it its a drop ceiling as the smoke permeates all the pores4.
