Left out some details there but in short my sister and I plan on selling some farmland passed down from our father to invest in other assets. 

I agree that's true but kind of a mute point imo... if you're concerned with the pex leaching chemicals then you should be concerned with the piping that city water travels in before reaching your pex lines and the quality of the city tap water in general.... as well as anything you drink that's bottled and any food that's bagged in plastic even those labelled as food safe which have been shown to leach chemicals.

Purchased with plan to live in permanently, put it as a STVR while traveling in our RV during the pandemic, and it did so well as a STVR that we decided to keep it as a rental and buy another cabin in Yosemite as our primary residence.

A 5 bedroom will work for one segment of the travel market, not for a single, couple or family of 4 or 5. 

I'm looking at condos that are part of hotels/resorts, for occasional personal use (I travel a lot and need a place to come back to), and to have STR income when I'm away.

Something to consider..going after travel nurses is only 1 demographic to consider.

They are still branding themselves as a furnished rental website for "travel nurses and other traveling professionals" but they give travel nursing top billing throughout their website.

Most of my guests are traveling medical professionals who undergo an additional check through their employer so I accept a copy of a fully executed employment contract (redacted is fine because I'm not interested in how much they're getting paid).

However, I need someone to be boots on the ground as I travel extensively for my job.Thoughts everyone?

Rather than seeing two travel nurses traveling together and splitting expenses I find it's more common to see a couple traveling together.
