Would it make a nice mid term rental if I need a revenue boost?

I’m looking at two properties about the same price, both around $360k.prop 1: new construction townhouse, HOA of $100, private outdoor patio, 1060 sf, 2 bedroom + 2.5 baths.

If I mainly want to vacation in Costa Rica and stay in a nice place, I rather make more money by investing elsewhere and rent a different villa every year, which is much more exciting from a lifestyle point of view, as I'll have variety.

I started with around $1,000, and my returns have been decent, usually around 8-12% a year, which feels nice compared to the ups and downs of the stock market.

I was so nice and kind to them allowing flexible rent payments but not sure why I had to encounter such a rude behavior from the tenant.

There are areas that will grow nicely buy there are rough areas 2 blocks away.I can provide a property manager who has found me many nice cash flowing properties with no drama.

I don’t have anything nice to say about the realtor that went silent, but it is what it is.

I only have nice photos of livingroom and one bedroom, as I'm still living in the unit. 

The house is at a nice area with HOA, which requires at least 6 month rent.
