If I took my parents advice, I would probably be miserable stuck in an office somewhere dealing with 8am meetings with people I don't care for and waiting for the weekend to arrive. 

I was unlucky enough to spend some time there during my military days, and it's one of the most miserable places I've ever been.

I also wanted to touch on many larger investors being somewhat immune to problems ahead given that they are cash rich, but one of the main attractions that drew me to this podcast and forum is listening to the countless number of individuals tell their personal stories about how they were able to use RE as a vehicle to accumulate wealth and escape their somewhat miserable employment situations and build freedom for themselves.

And remember when everyone was laughing AT netflix saying what a dumb corporation they are, mail-order vids are failing miserably, they have 0 idea what they are doing?

Is Texas miserable year round or are there milder months??

Dan Schwartz (owner of Investor Fuse) tried his hand in software development and failed miserably.

I've heard that when people live beyond their means and are miserable when they are barely making ends meet that they can make a landlords life a living hell with the complaints.

Makes me feel like I should be making their lives as miserable as they are making mine.  

However, I realized that I was miserable as a manager and didn't want to be tied down.

But I hope to hear encouraging suggestions to create a malleable goal that I can aim for considering that SOMEONE wants to make my life miserable.
