However they are now not wanting to loan me anything on this property because they folks had some prior judgements against them, medical, etc.What is my next move?  

If they win and there is a judgement against you for $100, you would pay that. 

@Wayne Brooks  in your experience will the second lien holder come back and look to get a deficiency judgement from the borrower ???

I found an attorney who would file for me at a reasonable cost and now I have a judgement from a superior court judge declaring me the owner against all claims.

As people have said, it would be time-consuming and difficult for you to get a judgement for $500 against the PM.

If your intent is to get possession and not worry about a judgement, then service by posting should be sufficient.
