If you want to be closer to LA, there are some cities close by that are still STR friendly, but they are quickly going away. 

It's a combination of things like new jobs, new home is closer to existing job, new home has a bigger yard for my dog, fiance and I broke up so now I don't need as much space, bla bla bla.

Just double checked the exact timing and it was closer to 3.5yrs of ownership but got no - I received no pushback from NACA.
