Someone I met while visiting runs a construction crew up there so was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the market up there and what they are seeing.

I grew up in the construction business and swung a hammer since I was 12.

And new construction in general is booming - accounting for 47% of single-family home sales this year! 

Construction is great, but flipping has dozens of moving parts simultaneously, with hundreds of elements to manage.

If that's the case, then your next best bet is really concentrate on your studies.

I have 3 STRs in the Pigeon Forge market.  1 was new construction and 2 were existing cabins when I purchased them.  

Just wanted to ask if any investors in the Austin/Cedar Park area with experience in rehabbing with today’s constructions costs had any general tips on estimating rehab costs for a property? 

I have many years of construction experience and have also done a fix and flip, in addition to ground up construction, as well as 10 years of entrepreneurial experience running a paddle board rental company, and advancing science through developing theoretical methods for efficient large scale simulations...I guess my problem is I can't seem to figure out how to find the money to do more projects, which is why I've been trying to sell my house.

I'm interested in exploring cash flow rentals, BRRRR, fix and flips, and new construction projects.As a newbie, I'm eager to learn and would love the opportunity to connect with experienced investors.
