I was very happy to close up shop, sell all of the furniture, take my car back and renovate the house to place a nice family in the house.

You can shop around for your own insurance and hopefully get a better rate.

Im interested in knowing the process on possibly converting existing garage/mechanic shop space into restaurant space.

If the home sales start to increase it would be around late 2025 so by early to mid 2026 that would be your window to refinance and pull out some equity.You would probably see the rental market increase by late 2024 as the initial plant managers and workers move to set up shop.

Oh, and my insurance agent is telling me my premiums are likely going to double once I rent out the apartment - fun times (Yes we are shopping that around).
