It would enable me to access the equity in my home whenever needed, allowing me to take out a smaller amount, such as enough for a down payment on another home. 

Some info that would be helpful to know would be the value of the house and outstanding mortgage amount.

EXAMPLE: a local HC has a single comcast email address for their entire office - mysteriously, they seem to be always losing emails and asking us to resend multiple times.The good news is they finally increased their max rental amounts a few years ago, so they are now more competitive. 

Realistically I know that we have built into our assumptions that there will be a certain amount of days in our properties that we will not be able to bill for (and we are well below that number), yet I still worry.

The house is under $100k which our agent says it's harder to get a loan on this amount.
