What makes land-only the "undiscovered secret" towards riches?

I am currently reading "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" and have been listening to the podcasts constantly.For the most part, I am interested in residential single-family homes to begin with.

There are these two modern tropes, one being that the rich are greedy, the other being that the poor are lazy. 

@Joey Cornelio definitely "rich dad poor Dad" if you haven't read it yet and also Donald Trumps "the art of the deal" are both fantastic books that can get you motivated and dedicated to real estate.

They are hide to find and if they were easy to come by, everyone would be rich.
