Since you live in Raleigh I think rocky mount is a good candidate for BRRR and it’s a reasonable distance from you.

In Westchester there are areas where multifamily properties cashflow, the school districts are good (better than Yonkers, Mount Vernon, etc) and the housing market is strong and full of good potential tenants - like yourself!

Maybe NJ, New Rochelle, Mount Vernon, Yonkers, what else am I missing?

I’m always watching surrounding my house in mount greenwood as well because I like the area, it’s close, and there’s a lot of cops, firemen, and city workers in the area making it fairly easy to find great tenants.
