I've seen some new construction townhomes with ADU's or DADU's as well - a lot of areas do not allow these, but Seattle, Bellevue, and Tacoma do allow them in one form or another.

Also if you intend this to be a rental, be aware that condo associations often have limits on how many units can be occupied by tenants, so check with the condo management first as to how many rental slots are left if you intend it for a rental.
