I am finishing up my last semester of college, thus my last two years of income was mostly summer internships and such.

If you don't get someone at the beginning of the year it is hard to get them in  an off semester listing.

I bought one, me and 4 friends live here currently, 2 are moving out at the end of this semester and Ive got 2 more lined up to move in!!

What I'm considering to do is to drop out after this semester, buy a property very close to my (private) university campus (about 3000 students), do some fixing up this summer, and then living in it for at least a year with some of my college friends who will remain in school.

We noticed that most college students prefer to rent or “sub lease” rooms for semesters.

Blayne Nation you sound like my twin, except I start terminal leave in December from the Marine Corps and start at University of Houston this spring semester.

My concern is that if I do not have tenants lined up by mid-September, I am going to be SoL until the following semester (December).

stay positive..my first rehab took a summer and most of first semester...i was washing dishes in the bathtub waitin for money to come in to order my countertop for the kitchen!!
