I don't think there's a scientific approach to learning this except for putting in a lot of efficient hours (like the 10,000 hour rule that Malcolm Gladwell discussed in his book), so it needs to be a combination of books, networking, speaking to local builders, Realtors, investors, attorneys, CPA's, insurance agents, and every other person needed in a real estate deal will get you where you need to go.

I am absolutely 100% committed to pursuing Real Estate in some capacity or another for a very long time, I am incredibly intrigued by the "no ceiling" aspect of how far you can take this business and I thoroughly enjoy every facet of residential homes from construction to sales to ownership.

I personally liked the online aspect as I was able to go at my own pace and do it when I had time.I also do agree that you will learn most of your knowledge about real estate outside of the class, but there are things that come up where you remember having studied it for your class.

The discrimination aspect then basically should not be a concern, because your properly screening each applicant on the same criteria.
