I did not mean to discourage you - I was just giving you an idea about the terms that I would expect if I was financing a deal.Also, water is healthier than sweet juice.

We’re all living longer, more active, healthier lifestyles and there is no reason to believe the amount of money we need after retirement should be substantially less than before.

If your market is economically depressed or declining in value, then looking at other healthier markets might be the right  decision for you. 

I only have 6 rentals so I’m not sure about embracing other software yet.

Embrace even the parts that suck. 

The only way to increase death benefit is if the policy allows additional paid up premium. if it does, you’re likely not going to be able to get the same underwriting (since you were younger and healthier as a kid). 

Negotiate a healthier price on the deal so that I have some money for expenses. 

I just quit my job 2 weeks ago by the way and my life is so much healthier now not working at a job a hated getting filthy at a asphalt plant just venting here.

BP posts and the Podcasts helped embrace this attitude that  good deal or bad deal, each can be used to help make the next deal that much easier to do, easier to analyze, and quicker to move on.
