Just my opinion.Your ability to communicate and well organized posts give me reason to believe that you will find a mentor and an internship within real estate with relative ease.

@Brandonhicks You make a great point about the ease of rehab and less wear.

I have enjoyed the ease of ownership and am serving on our board.  

It's more time consuming but you'll have much better control over the project using the better management software and you'll gain the ease of use and communication that Basecamp provides for people who aren't necessarily experts in project management (i.e. contractors).  

I also like the ease of receiving timely payments from the PHA via direct deposit, which lands in our bank account before rent is due. 

If not, you can usually get out of a smaller deal with much more ease than a larger one.

UN- wide world... or the BAR member 'attorneys' (masquerading as 'lawyers') within the globally franchised legal(eased) system of the Roman 'City of London' Temple BAR (using Maritime Admiralty "law of the sea," subordinate to Roman "Canon law," of the land) would have shut it DOWN, long ago.And I have thought up some great LO and wholesaling, etc. related 'ideas,' but have yet to 'apply' any of them, to date.

The better oath would have been to ease in to the situation, offering assistance, and slowly becoming and inside, the natural choice as buyer.

I have just parked money there between projects/investments because of the ease and returns - and I actually enjoy doing analysis and due diligence on deals across the CF platforms, whether I invest or not.
