Do a search on county assessors site and with the city to determine empty lot plans/issues.  

I tried to search on the IRS website but can't find anything.

This allows us priority housing when they search for a home fit for their clients. 

In my ideal scenario, I would do some more entry level projects to start off while I learn the ins and outs, but my goal would be to eventually work on more luxury flips - larger scaled projects in more desirable neighborhoods (though fewer and farther between).  

You can also find real estate investing groups through meetup.com, Facebook, or a Google search.
