For other types of loans, there are other criteria (I don't know them offhand).So, when the bank says it will accept $90K, that's what they've determined is the minimum net they're willing to take on the sale (most likely, the net is the $90K minus commissions and costs).This is SOP for short sales...I'm guessing it's just a coincidence that your POF was around the same amount.
