Reed I tend to discount.Consider buying a copy of Weekend Millionaire (check Amazon or a large bookstore).

I was looking to see if anyone had any recommendations for real estate books that I could pick up at the book store to help increase my knowledge?

It was never for sale or in any book store.  

Great advice from @BillG.One overlooked source of general Real Estate Knowledge is the bookstore at the schools in  which licensure classes are taught.  

Local book store and meet ups are a great source of learning also.Good luck and thank you for your service to our country.
