An attorney wants to charge me $1000 to look over & make changes to my agreement.

Does the state of Florida use a Escrow or Closing Agent/Attorney?

Good question but, possible pending lawsuit aside (I am an attorney), what do we do now to get this permit?

If you do, you should consider consulting an attorney to discuss what you should have in place, and make sure your insurance company understands the setup as well and the potential increase for that scenario.Hope that helps.Mike

You don't need an attorney because it won't be worth it to spend money to get a property that you may never have had a legal contract on.
