Real estate has historically been a long term play.this idea that someone who otherwise never cared about real estate, can simply dial up a realtor and buy instant 4 digit monthly cashlfow is something born out of YouTube.

Dont go by what you watch on youtube or read crazy success stories online.

PL has a really great Youtube channel and they often hosts townhalls or meetings when they put out updates.

As for the hype you’ll find by the gurus on YouTube and other social media, even if they were able to conclude a couple of these deals (which is not certain, there’s a lot of lying out there), the fact that someone with 20 years of full time real estate experience can pull off 2 spectacular deals in a 20 year period is no way indicative of an inexperienced person being able to do the same in anything like a near term time frame . 

You can read the books in the BP bookstore and watch videos on YouTube and gain enough knowledge to get started and buy a small multi family house 2-4 units to house hack or just rent out and self manage.

There are a lot of youtube influencers that make these scenario's sound like they are perfectly normal, even though they verge on, or are, outright fraud.

I've been watching BP youtube daily for months,  read many many books, been practicing running numbers with an app finding deals etc, plan on taking boot camps here and also Zubers course.
