I won't be taking the gov't up on this offer should this pass and I would guess that any property owner who can make the payments without the assistance wouldn't voluntarily shackle themselves to these restrictions either.

also give them outline where they should plant these items (like previous comment says, too close to the property could damage it in the long run depending on the tree) Also, you can say potting is allowed but that's for your personal expense/hobby.if its edible plant(herbs and vegetables), definitely only at their yard or potting use only....

Had the place rented to a far better tenant within a few weeks and have had steady rent coming in from them ever since.Motivate them to leave voluntarily.

From our point of view that is a very valuable distinction and I've never had a tenant question it.4) An eviction occurring now tells me a tenant had no problem staying somewhere they could no longer afford instead of leaving voluntarily, and for that matter, stayed until the last possible second.

It really is/was a way for those with a pretty good amount of money to put a small amount of that large pot to work in something that if it worked, great, but if not OK they lost some of their principal but when you are worth 10+ figures already it's not soul-crushing.

Even if you could get the tenant to move voluntarily, you're left with the same problem as before, a house that you can't rent out because it floods and you need to fix that, and if you want to sell it, guess what the buyer is going to want that fixed as well or they'll take a discount on price greater than the cost to fix the problem.

Looking for ideas to stop this FAST....a new tenant that has just moved into it fully renovated apartment within the last 60 days has admitted when questioned to smoking pot inthe apartment stating that she didn't know that she wasn't supposed to smoke in the apartment.

@Joseph Barnes ,Something you'll need understand about being a landlord versus being a short term rental host is that as a STR host you're crossing over into another industry: hospitality, on top of being a property owner.A short term rental is expected to be fully furnished as well as fully stocked with a coffee brewer, pots, pans, utensils, dishes, cups / glasses, flatware, towels, soap / shampoo, other bath items, bed linens, ... even some basic food items like breakfast cereals, canned items, etc.
