A couple things to think about:1) What is the plans policy if you no longer work for the company, some allow you to continue payments some require repayment within XXX days.2) You say purchase investment property; you can use the money for down payment, but if you leave it in there it can count for your reserve funds.

Sometimes we see things as they should be xxx higher than they are.

Send them a short letter that the rent included electricity up to $XXX.

I've got $xxx for an investment. 

Hey, XXX thanks for letting me know.

And sometimes there's the yield spread which is compensation for selling the rate or in somecases compensation from the wholesaler to the broker for $xxx,xxx amount of business within a certain time frame.Sounds like your concerned about a business transaction that you are either involved in or about to embark on.Myself, I'm not really concerned about someone making a profit from my business......though, I don't like being treated like a bag of groceries and I don't like being shafted.

It was basically a "pay or quit" type notice, but it started with an explanation of how and when I acquired the property and that I was charging this occupier a reasonable rent of $XXX per month.The idea was that by giving them a notice that I owned the property and that I require payment of a reasonable rent that they would either need to pay rent back to when I took ownership right away or be evicted like any other tenant.

My PM contacted me about it, and said that, with their "25% management fee", the repair cost would be $X,XXX.
