Hi Frank,We have a real estate club now in Puerto Rico, REIA Rico, meeting on the 4th Weds of each month. 

I'm also self-employed and running a full-time photo editing business for wedding photographers, which allows me to be location independent.The reason I joined BiggerPockets is that for a while, I've been very interested in real estate, more specifically in house flipping and short-term rentals.

I was saying that making it more of a destination venue - think Bridal showers, birthdays, weddings, etc. may be the way to go. 

Our guests come here for a number of reasons: visit family, work, vacation, and lots of weddings!

@Bruce Woodruff we have asked for STR address upfront when we book for family wedding or funerals.

Because most of my savings are in this deal (as well as planning for my wedding in a few months), I feel stuck.

Often those organizations have set up preferred programs with different service providers as an incentive to get her to join.Congrats on your upcoming wedding. 

You seem wedded to this one, but there are many that would write you a policy.

Children out of wed lock is another thing that bogs them down. 250k simply is not enough to set you up for life.. they need to be concentrating on employment..
