The big key is really your strategy and having the resources, team, and training there with you on the journey to look over your shoulder to make sure your strategy is sound and you have things dialed in. 

For my first deal with FSBO, I probably need someone to look over my shoulder.

I've since found a great property management company that takes the weight of self managing the property off of my shoulders.

I did see someone who blew their shoulder out on impact.  

And yes, the title company doesn't have time to coach you on how to complete a contract or the administration of a contract...that falls solely on your shoulders.
