This is referring to mortgage insurance, also called PMI, private mortgage insurance. 

You are able to do so as a regular private citizen.

Most common are private equity structures with a pref and waterfall on the equity side.  

Privately funded and local tend to be easier .

I know one option is to wade into the waters of private funding.

Most private lenders are not doing 80% Cash Out Refis anymore.

And on the alternative investment side, I have real estate, private equity, venture capital, GP Stakes, music royalties, litigation finance, etc.I don’t feel comfortable, sharing my portfolio amounts etc on the public Internet.
