The only thing I need to play around with in Buildium is running financial reports and customizing them so for instance I could run an EBITDA, or a cash flow statement without depreciation figured in etc.

Didn't realize it would also play into the investment decision.

We have been playing it safe but really would like to start investing in Rental properties as another source of passive income and to start building for our children.  

What happens with the economy over the next 6 months plays into our decision as well.
