@Audrey Sommer as many of the folks above have mentioned, Zillow is the biggest platform that I see the majority of our leads come in on.

Funny how, as the years roll by, there’s been a major shift in my approach.

The City has an "Eviction Prevention Task Force" which includes Judges, Attorneys, the Sheriff's department and non-profit groups and churches. 

Plenty of renters and although home to a state school the town does not feel seasonal due to the other major employers.

The skiing pales in comparison to Colorado or the Sierra Nevada of course, but I still thought it was pretty great as a kid growing up in the midwest 😃 I love the ideas of areas that are more state or regional attractions but still within driving distance of major cities.

Major platforms like Airbnb now remit these taxes directly to the city, which simplifies the process but places more scrutiny on unpermitted listings. 

If people are looking to set up a MTR it is very misleading and if someone is looking for a place it also matches even if your property is too far from the major city that is searched resulting in leads that aren't really a match. 

@Sean Conroy, this really depends on two things: first, the land zoned in a way that you can subdivide and build more units (question for building/zoning department) and second, financial returns on doing this versus using the capital to buy.New construction certainly has its advantages on the operating side, and can often get a premium to remodeled, older units.

There have been multiple legal challenges to this position of the FTB (California tax department, or Franchise Tax Board), but I don't believe any CA resident won such a fight.
