I’m looking to purchase a condo on a golf course in Green Valley Ranch but I’m getting mixed feelings.

Fourth REI is a business and now you will be mixing personal with business which has its own landmines.  

I often take massive road trips and will stay at a mix of STRs and hotels or quirky lodges depending on what looks fun or convenient. 

For me, my strategy has always been a mix of flips and rentals but more flips (80/20).

@Lilly Fang Don't worry about re negotiating if another buyer is in the mix.

@Shivam Patel  This is one of the most commonly discussed topics on the forums, so here’s my response taken from a previous thread:Usually, "new investor" and "out of state" don't mix.

We have been doing STR for approx one year and we were hoping we would be able to be "grandfathered" if laws change but hearing a lot of mixed messages about the case law so far on this.
