And although he continuously discusses the importance of putting together a team (and gives great, specific guidance on who needs to be on that team), he never suggests that the reader should think about joining someone else’s team to learn the process and test the skills they learn from the book, before trying to lead big deals on their own.To me, it seems that the author is so used to successfully carrying out big deals in a specific niche with large, professional firms as partners, that he has forgotten how to explain the steps it has taken him to get there, and does not remember his experience level at each point along the way.

Many books cover variations of this and probably have 90% of the same material because it's a common business.Conversely, the #1 complaint of tenants (according to some long-forgotten book I read years ago, anyway) is that landlords don't respond to issues especially maintenance requests.So, don't be like that.

I see I'm forgotten now, LOL...If you don't have money in this, you are probably getting into a broker's position if you are getting any benefit.No, I'd not go that direction, that's another brokerage issue, have one make a loan as a second to the owner and use the proceeds to pay down the first, have the other buy the first.

I try to transition in the middle of the month so the former manager can collect rent and clean up accounts and the new manager has half a month to prepare for collecting rents.There may be more things I've forgotten but I have to run and pick up kids!
