Hope you don't mind if I chime in here, but I'm hoping this strategy I'm working on might be useful to you folks - or enlightening for me if I'm misunderstanding anything.I have been spending a great deal of time learning about "Velocity Banking" - basically where you trade in chunks of an amortized loan (with the majority of the interest stacked up front) for a simple interest loan.

Yeah, please enlighten me (us) on the financing part.

Like the whole nation will have layoffs and financial desperation to such an extent people are giving houses away but somehow our lives as "enlightened" real estate investors will be untouched financially.
