Ows News Need Help to Fix PINK Tub
19 November 2007 | 5 replies
If you do leave it, and have supply or drain side leaks, you end up tearing out all the other new work to fix it.If you choose to do nothing, and the rest of the home is "fresh", then the bathroom becomes a big detractor, and will affect the quality and number of prospective applicants.Of course, if you are just flipping, glazing the tub, surround, and sink fixture can make a HUGE appearance improvement for very low investment, and you can pick the latest designer colors!

I got a call the other morning at 4am from a tenant that was distressed because another tenant had come home drunk at 2am, turned up the stereo and proceeded to pass out in her apt, and none of the tenants could get her to come to the door so they called the police and after an hour of beating on the door they finally woke her up at 4:30.Try a sewer pipe backed up because a tenant flushed feminine products down the toilet and your the one that has to snake the system from in front of the blockage because it's the only way to get to it without draining 200 gallons of sewage on the basement floor, knowing that once you free the blockage you better get the snake out fast and the cap put on the clean out.

(drains clogged, water backing up into the garage and garage door kicked in and a broken door frame, several shingles uprooted from high winds, smoke damage in the living area). the seller agreed to fix the drains and leaking pipesor the first 1000.00 worth of damage. let me know if i am still being foolish, my realtor has told me that we were out of contract, and i should have no trouble getting me earnest money back, however i must go to early mediation to do it. i am confused and scared a little now?!?!
N/A N/A Buying house on contract (need help!)...
3 December 2007 | 4 replies
Hi,I'm currently buying a house on contract here in Indiana from someone, and 4 months into the purchase, we're getting nickel and dimed to death on repairs (new plumbing for clogged drains, hot water heater going out, etc.).My question...Is it my responsibility to pay for a new hot water heater (around $1500) for our house, or do I have some recourse so that the actual owner pays for it?
