Where I see mistakes made in the note space are:1. companies turn into marketing and education - they lose focus on underwriting and managing their business.2.

The small multi family space (4-20 units) seems to be less crowded, but those deals can be hard to manage unless they’re within a couple of hours from where you live so you could manage or turn it yourself if you had to. 

In 1-2 years you could repeat this with another property, then rent out your current space and the property will pay for itself.

Adding livable space or smart home features can significantly boost home value.

Some lenders do have minimum credit scores to access these loan types, but it is the exact same qualifications for income and assets as non renovation loans. 

The Building Inspector insisted that I prove to him that the garage slab had the proper steel (rebar) size and spacing.

Their previous lease includes a portion of storage in the basement with laundry access(also in basement).Current set up: tenant occupies floor #2 with separate access to the basement for their laundry and storage.Future plan: reno basement and remove storage/laundry access for tenant.

for us its leaving a few chunks of wood in the crawl space LOL
