If your original lease didn't allow "long term" visitors, you have no choice but adding him,  even if he doesn't qualify, unless you're prepared to kick her out too.

I had always thought AirBnB had less impact on vacation towns that made were used to transient visitors and made a lot of money from tourism, but clearly I misunderstood.

People will google your business first, so make sure it shows the visitors tons of content about you, and educational content for them learn.

Then the neighbors would find all kinds of violations to report you to the town, on rules that you never heard of.I have a SFR and the current tenant is a family with 4 cars, and I warned them to be careful of parking in front of other peoples homes, especially when they have visitors, and don't get into arguments its a public street.

I can't imagine there's much of a rental market for mansions, and we don't have enough visitors for Airbnb.

I live about an hour away from the area that I am looking to purchase in, and I do have somewhere I can stay rent free when I'm renting the property out to visitors. 

I am a frequent visitor but have not posted yet.
