What I don’t understand is how to navigate seemingly vast distance between concept and hiring a qualified contractor.

Okay, so now that my subject line has caught your attention...I'm trying to work out a proof of concept on real estate transactions that may be affected by the seller's end of life planning.

Sadly most Low class tenants have no concept of shame or dishonor 

I really like the idea of having a monthly cash flow and I generally appreciate the concept of renting more than I do flipping.

@Allison Panila welcome to BP.There is a concept in contract law that anything that is unclear in a contract is construed against the person that wrote it.

I think this post is generally right in concept, but far from accurate.I am a realtor, only work in C+and above areas, where I feel safe walking around by myself, and I still find properties for my clients around 100k.
