(There were some fine points to this which are a little vague now, but it is pretty accurate)Also, in my experience, a Standard Purchase Agreement (or whatever your local RE board calls it) has a section that spells out who is the CLIENT, and who is a CUSTOMER.

If you actually have a fixed term lease, it ends on the date specified, and the document (or local law) should spell out whether any further notification is required.

I work full time in the HVAC industry in NC and we are currently in our busyest (I had a real hard time spelling busyest...busyist...busiest...oh well you know what I mean) time of year and have been working pretty much from 7:00am to around 9:00pm everyday except Sunday which is usually around 9:00am till 4:00pm.

@J Scott I don't have any experience with tax liens, but I think they key (as with all agreements like this) is to think of all the scenarios in which something goes wrong, and spell out in your (written) contract what happens in those scenarios.
