what is the benefit of putting a new STR into service towards the end of the year vs the beginning of the next year?

That way I atleast saved interest payment on commission to be paid for which minimal service was offered.

You need to have it fully stocked so people can cook while they are there and I tell you it is very important.You need to setup regular services for the hard systems like furnace, AC etc to keep them in top condition.
