I have seen people go big and fast before and be at net neutral or a slight monthly loss balancing winners,mediocre,and loser properties in their overall portfolio.Just don't go big for the sake of being big.

We're in Edgewood and right around April 15 our neighbor sold her house for 120K over what we paid 3 years ago.We listed on 5/13 and the sell-ovation started, all upside down, butnot horrible and the house is looking pretty AND neutral ;-)so pay day nears.The next step is to house-hack - maybe a duplex up near theNW edge of the Beltline?
