Thank youMore than lending I am trying to find a place where I might be able to take that equity and get a small fixer upper single family or multi family to get the ball rolling on investment just need to find the right low entry market...Should I try to flip to build up more money or fix and hold and try and borrow equity?

Jeff if you have the money it would be best to pull the band aid off and reno everything at once and then get market rents.If you don't have the cash in hand I would raise rents a little and build up cash reserves.

My goal in 2-3 years is to travel via airbnb for months at a time domestically and internationally, living off of my rental income (as well as build-up my IRA which I depleted paying off cc debt used to upgrade properties, e.g. adding bathrooms, gut kitchen, and yes, pay a few months of morrgage payments).Still with me?
