Level of quality, material types, which rooms get what, what brand and model, etc. if you can get a close sketch for your floor plan, that would help immensely too.

How do you weigh what criteria is the most important when the results in the different scenarios can vary immensely.

Kind of pricey, but they seem to like it.And yes it's aggravating to have to alter your well made plans.And if it's really bugging you one day, just remember this video of a Tiger Mom having to feed (3) very cute big baby tigers laying out in the dirt in the African Jungle.You will have a fridge again, and probably pretty fast too.Good Luck!

BiggerPockets has immense value and is a great place to network.

Ill find numbers there and compare them to other platforms and the difference is immense I just dont which platform or numbers to rely on to plug in so i can get my most accurate reading.

Walls can be taken down, i know... but no COs so I wonder if I'd be responsible for work done before I take ownership, PLUS there could be immense expense of architects, permits, construction and time. 

Checking the "cash" box would help immensely I believe. 

There are risks and downsides to storage (as with any asset class) but overall there is still an immense amount of opportunity.
