The scenario he gave me was that you can’t move into a rental next to a sawmill then complain about the noise.

Despite what gurus will sell you on, unknowledgeable people will tell you, and people with an axe to grind will insist on, the odds are heavily stacked against anyone trying to “wholesale” notes.

I plan on really starting to grind and put in the work once college is over.

I would like to make big noise to this SCAM because this is wrong and people can get hurt, some people do this for a living! 

Some deals take longer then others and you have to keep working the lead.And again keep grinding and keep putting offers in, don't however lower your standard to get the deal done. 

Keep hustling and keep grinding you bosses! 

Once you have those 3 answers... you can start to sift through all of the wonderful "noise" and pick a strategy that works for you.

Bathroom schedule, refrigerator space, noise curfew, hosting parties and visitors were not allowed, etc., but the rules were very reasonable.  

It’s a grind but it is possible.

They found something they were very good and enjoyed doing, then they just chugged away at it, day after day after day.As @Cameron Tope states, building that kind of wealth is grind, and a lot of trade offs are made.
